GPO Resources on Environmental Topics

The U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO) has information and publications about various environmental topics. Featured examples include the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP), FDLP Academy, FDLP Resource Guides, and GovInfo. Click on the tabs of this box to learn more about these resources.

The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) is a free online resource of bibliographic records for U.S. Government publications. To learn more about how to use this catalog, check out CGP Search Tips/Help

  • Try basic keyword searches like Climate Change, Invasive Species, Land Management, and Weather
  • Try advanced author keyword searches like U.S. Department of the Interior, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and U.S. Forest Service

FDLP Academy Banner

Freely available for the general public, the FDLP Academy offers webinars and webcasts for Federal Depository Libraries. Its mission is to "create and deliver enhanced educational opportunities to the FDLP community by fostering collaboration, by facilitating knowledge sharing, and through the application of new methods and use of multiple mediums" about U.S. Government resources. The following webinars contain information on different environmental topics.
