This site uses the Library of Congress' American Memory collections to teach students about World War I.

The Nation's Forum Collection at the Library of Congress contains sound recordings of American leaders. World War I recordings include excerpts from speeches by: General John J. Pershing, Commander, American Expeditionary Forces; James W. Gerand, Former American Ambassador to Germany; and Samuel Gompers, President, American Federation of Labor.

Teaching and Mapping the Geography of the Meuse Argonne Offensive is designed to help teachers and students alike gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the achievement, service, and sacrifice that occurred on the hills, fields, roads, towns, and farms of the Western Front between September 26 and November 11, 1918.
