Spanish Language Documents: Searching the CGP for Spanish-language documents

The Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (CGP) is the finding tool for Federal publications that includes descriptive information for historical and current publications as well as direct links to the full document, when available. Users can search by authoring agency, title, subject, and general keywords, or click on "Advanced Search" for more options.

 El Catálogo de Publicaciones del Gobierno de los Estados Unidos (CGP) es la herramienta de búsqueda de publicaciones federales que incluye información descriptiva para publicaciones históricas y actuales, así como enlaces directos al documento completo, cuando esté disponible. Los usuarios pueden buscar por autoría, título, tema y palabras clave generales, o hacer clic en "Búsqueda avanzada" para obtener más opciones.

The CGP can be used to locate Spanish-language materials on any topic using the Advanced Search Feature:

El CGP puede ser utilizado para localizar materiales en español en cualquier tema usando la función de búsqueda avanzada:

1. Search for subject, title, SuDoc stem, item number, or keyword. (Busque el tema, el título, el tallo SuDoc, el número de artículo o la palabra clave.) 

2. Choose a date range and format preference, if wanted. (Elija un intervalo de fecha y una preferencia de formato, si se desea.)

3. Select SPANISH from the Language drop down menu. (Seleccione SPANISH en el menú desplegable Idioma.) 

4. Spanish-language items meeting your search criteria will be listed.  

5. If a format was not selected, some items in the list will be print format, some will be electronic, and some will be microfiche. Online items will be indicated by a PURL in the far right column. Clicking on the PURL will take you directly to the document.  (Si no se seleccionó un formato, algunos elementos de la lista serán de formato de impresión, algunos serán electrónicos y otros serán microfichas. Los artículos en línea serán indicados por un PURL en la columna de la derecha. Al hacer clic en el PURL le llevará directamente al documento.)
