Introduction to Children's SuDoc Classes

The following Superintendent of Documents (SuDoc) classes have been created specifically for children's publications:

Department of Education

  • National Institute of Education -- ED 1.319:
Note: All publications currently in the above class are from the 1970s-1980s

Department of the Interior

  • Bureau of Land Management -- I 53.71:
  • Fish and Wildlife Service -- I 49.140:
  • National Park Service -- I 29.171:

See below for instructions on how to search the CGP by SuDoc class number.

CGP: SuDoc search results

Please note: Some search results lists will include class numbers in the SuDoc column other than the number searched. This happens if a catalog record contains both old and new SuDoc numbers. The CGP displays the original SuDoc number on the search results page, and the current number is only visible once a record is opened. GPO is investigating whether this can be changed.
