FDLP Coordinator Calendar

Task of the Month

Time to Talk

One of the great strengths of the FDLP is the network of enthusiastic, dedicated professionals who work in its libraries! Take some time this month to talk to your regional depository coordinator, and to at least one other selective depository coordinator nearby. Make some new friends, learn some new things, get inspiration from what others are doing.

You can find all the depository libraries in your state or any state or territory using the Federal Depository Library Directory.

FDLP Tips of the Month

  • You can use the FDLP eXchange to offer materials you are withdrawing from your depository collection nationally to other libraries. You can do this even if your library does not use the eXchange for its regional withdrawal process—you would just put the material on eXchange after it has been offered to the regional and within your state/region.
  • Also, May is the month for the Depository Library Council's virtual meeting. The upcoming meeting will be May 1–2, 2024.

Reference Resource of the Month

Homeland Security Digital Library

  • Federal depository libraries can sign up for free access to the full content of this valuable resource containing non-classified policy and national strategy documents and specialized resources related to homeland security.
